For instance, you could find a glitched-out SMG that has the occasional chance to let loose an extremely powerful shotgun blast. These weapons have normal base abilities but since they are the result of corrupted data, they will randomly glitch out every now and again, unleashing a devastating blast of artillery on your foes. You will also have access to a new set of rare weapons called Glitch weapons. They are as persistent during battle as the flying monsters. One particularly humorous element are the Insecurity bots that patrol Claptrap’s mind. Handsome Jack will also be working on hacking the system, periodically resulting in alterations to the levels as you play them.Įvery element of this add-on serves as a way to give more insight into Claptrap’s character. As you venture through the world, you will have to destroy bad memory clusters in order to reveal the next point of interest and gain access to new memories. The level designs are also representative of being inside a distorted memory with many set pieces transitioning from settings Claptrap remembers to odd environments that draw inspiration from science-fiction classics like Tron. When you access the parts of Claptrap’s memories related to finding the information, you will also encounter warped versions of enemies and distorted representations of familiar characters. Since you are traversing the internal circuitry of a robot, things are going to get a little weird. I highly recommend playing as Claptrap or at least having a friend join you so he can at least tag along on the journey
